Referral System Uncovered

Business Owners!

Do you depend on repeat business and referrals to expand your bottom line?
Imagine a system to build your customer base and referrals; one that would enable you to never worry about where your next customer or client will come from.
Tom Hopkins, a top sales trainer, set a goal to send 10 thank you cards per day. He states that by the end of his third year in sales his business was 100% from referrals.
Let us SHOW you how to do this same thing simply, quickly with a simple click of your mouse. You click, we stuff, address, stamp, and send through postal mail.
Come and use the system at no cost to you. Send some cards, make some-one's day, the cost is on us.

I received this in an email and wanted to share it with all of you.

****
An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole, which she carried across her neck. One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water, at the end of the long walk from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing homeonly one and a half pots of water. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its ownimperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it hadbeen made to do.

After 2 years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, because thiscrack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house."

The old woman smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I havealways known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side Of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them. For twoyears I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table. Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house."

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws weeach have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding. You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.

SO, to all of my crackpot friends, have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!

Blessings to you all!
Sandy

Walking the Line between Follow-Up and Harassment

People in the world of home business have tried to mask or cover what they do for a living. For some reason there has been a movement of embarrassment over the fact that they are offering something consumable to the population of the world. To be quite honest I don’t understand this line of thinking.

In the world of sales it doesn’t matter how a business person chooses to describe what they do for a living, i.e. a marketer, a vendor, or in direct sales, it all comes down to one thing; they are in sales. In order to make a living they must move a product or service to the population. I comprehend making a living by selling goods to others because I am in sales (oh NO! I said the dreaded word). I sell greeting cards and I am proud of what I do for I offer something that makes people’s lives richer. Perhaps it is because of my understanding of sales that I get disgusted with a marketer/salesperson that is embarrassed or afraid to call it like it is and also refuses to learn the basics of good marketing.

There is a fine line between follow up and harassment and I become annoyed when someone continually pesters me about buying that one-of-a-kind item or opportunity that I have plainly told them I have no interest in. In fact, there are times I get downright angry. Other times I am happy to receive a sales follow up call. What makes the difference? It has to do with the number one important item on a marketers list of building a solid customer base. The number one decree of successful marketing: Find those that need, want, or desire your product or service.

Here is a quote from Kim Emerson, teacher of the Law of Attraction and professional writer:

What is too much follow up? I believe there is an important key to following up with prospects:

Are we listening to our prospects in the first place? Is it ALL about them? Have we determined that they have a desire for what we are offering? Or do they already have 25 DVD players etc. If you are not making your communication all about THEM, you are wasting your time and making them angry.

If we trying to sell a computer to a hermit in the hills that has no electricity and NO desire or need for a computer we are slamming the door closed to our prosperity. We are trying to give him something that is of no value to him no matter what kind of “deal” we have to offer. Now on the other hand if we are selling a computer to an Internet user, writer, or other person that has a need or want for a new computer and we can give them an incredible price then we are swinging that prosperity door wide open because we are giving more value than the asking price. If it is all about them following up more than twice is not a bad thing; you are just addressing the issue of timing. If it is all about the fact that WE need to sell that computer “no matter what” then following up at all is damaging to all concerned.

My .02 for today.

A Follow Up System You Can Bank On

According to sales experts, the first important step in building a customer base is to find those that want, need, or desire what you have. The second most important step is to develop a top notch follow-up system.

Once you have a list of prospects and have made that initial contact; it is paramount you keep in touch with them. Yet the time crunch of running a business weighs down on you and the ball gets dropped. You know you need to follow up, but the books have to be balanced, inventory taken, orders placed, and the end of the month report is staring you in the face, not to mention the words “follow-up” fills you with an unexplained fear.

So you turn to technology to simplify and speed up the process of follow-up. You look at that automated phone system that will call every lead you’ve ever talked to. When you listen to the message chills run up your spine and you think “I just don’t feel good about sending a recorded message to my prospects every single week. I don’t know how everyone else feels, but I don’t want to wake up every Tuesday morning to a phone call from a stranger telling me to buy the latest-greatest-anything! That has got to be annoying.”

You throw that idea out and begin toying with a new automated email system. Quickly you realize that people must recognize that it is an automated email because it uses the exact same words for everyone on a list, and how in the world can you get them to open the email in the first place? Like Goldilocks throwing out the cold porridge you toss that idea aside.

What you want is a system that shows your prospects you care about them. What you need is a system that will save you valuable time and money.

That’s when it hits you; you need something someone can open with their hands; something beautiful and friendly like a personalized card sent through the postal mail.

That is what Send Out Cards is all about! It helps build better relationships in every area of your life without breaking the bank. For 98 cents for a greeting card or 49 cents for a postcard (less for wholesale) you can send the message that you really do care about your customers/prospects. And after all isn’t that what good business sense is really all about? Try this follow up system for free at http://www.sandysendfreecard.com/

Dear Friends,

As business owners we know in order to build our business's we must follow up with clients and prospects, but for some reason those two words can send chills of fear up our spines. I have gathered some opinions on the subject and would like to share them with you.

"The most important thing is to do a FOLLOW UP and that means do more than one. If someone is interested in what you have follow up. They decided they need some time tell them that you will check back in a week, month, etc. Or you could have talked to the person gave them a quote and they said okay. But then if you didn't hear from them in a couple days, FOLLOW UP because you don't know what might have happen. Now what if you suggested someone else for this person because you knew they could help. I would follow up and make sure they person was able to get in touch with the suggested person. You will want to make sure that the person you suggested had followed through. You don't want to be send people to someone that drops the ball even if you had a great experience with them."

"We all know that follow-up is the key to success in networking, whether online or off. Why is it we are often afraid to take this vital step? Fear seems to be the root of all failures whether in business or in our personal lives."

**For the next week I will be posting some wonderful information on the importance of follow up and ways to make it PAINLESS for you.

Making First Impressions

The following article is by George Marsh. It is reprinted from www.cardguysinc.com

You never get a second chance for a first impression. This is very important for the first time impression you make on a potential prospect for your business. It is very important that you do everything possible to assure that each contact you make with your prospect increases thier impression of you and your company.

You just made your first phone contact with a potential prospect. The conversation went very well and all the business points were covered and all initial questions were answered. After hanging up with this prospect what can you do to keep the positive experience going? Why not send the prospect a personal greeting card thanking them for the opportunity to share your business with them. What if that greeting card was professionally branded with your company logo or product?

What if you could access an online 24/7 greeting card & postcard system that would....

  • Contain a pre-designed greeting card catalog of over 2500+ cards/postcards
  • Contact Manager complete with Calendar and reminder system (via emails to you)
  • 9 popular fonts as well as the opportunity to have your own personal font & signatures
photograph uploading, pre-paid national branded gift cards and check sending options
    much, much more.......

Most importantly this system allows you to do all this from the convienance of your home or office computer. No trip to a card store, no long lines at the post office, not even a short walk to your mailbox. Did I also mention 1/5th the cost of doing it the old fashioned way.

Get a Gift Account and test the system for yourself. Fill out the form at http://www.remembergreetingcards.com/smorgan and we'll get back to you.

Start each day with a Virtual Visualization

I wake up, grab my coffee and watch the fog hovering over the lake. It reminds me that I am surrounded with Divine messages that are waiting for me to let them flow into my mind and soul... I take a deep breath and close my eyes. As I open my eyes, I see that the fog has lifted!

Going to check my email, I see that every 3rd message is blue (my Outlook Express is set up so that incoming messages are color coded, seeing my priority messages immediately)! Blue equals prospects! WOW!! I get to talk with 11 people and tell them how they can improve their lives, as well as the lives of others, by becoming a sender of cards!

By day's end, I have 3 new customers and 1 new Distributor!

Would it have been that way had I gotten up, saw the foggy day, and thought what a dreary day? Maybe.......maybe not! I do know my chances were better by visualizing a positive outcome to my day.

This practice is used by many to get what they want. Being able to put yourself in the moment of having that new house, that long awaited vacation or closing that big deal is called Virtual Visualization. Believing that you already have what you want leads you along the path that enables you to attain whatever it is that you desire.

When you need help, just ask for it!

Today, I was overwhemed. Things were just not going right, time was running out, yada-yada! On top of that, I had a great opportunity before me, but I began wrestling with thought of whether I could manage one more thing on my plate. I lost it---really lost it!!

Taking a grip, I emailed my friend Linda. I knew she could help me sort it all out, adding the perspective to help me out of my mini meltdown. Little did I know that from that one email, I would get help from the whole Universe!

First off, sending that email brought me an immediate breath of fresh air. I was no longer frazzled and could actually think a bit more clearly! I hear all the time that it helps to write things down, but never experienced it because of my inability to write due to my Cerebral Palsy. But I felt the weight lift as soon as I clicked the 'send' button! Interesting, I thought!

Then I read the following post in a forum, posted by one of my Send Out customers:

Here is something you all might enjoy:

Rex Barker here again with "Borrowed vision" - someone believes in you.... There are times in our lives when we may find ourselves facing challenges that can seem overwhelming. The situation or task we are struggling with seems hopeless, and it is easy to stop believing in ourselves, our goals, and our dreams. It is during these moments that it can be reassuring and reaffirming to turn to the people in our lives who do believe in us, especially when we are finding it hard to believe in ourselves. An encouraging word, a reassuring look, or hearing the words "I believe in you" from someone who matters can help us turn our situations around in an instant. Everybody has someone who believes in them, whether this person is a teacher, parent, friend, loved one, or an employer. Often their belief can wrap us in warmth, bolster us, and offer us a supportive hand to grab onto until we can regain our own support. Having that special person who believes in our abilities and our worth is a wonderful gift. But when we are feeling unworthy, it may be difficult to take in something so precious. We may even feel like we need to do it all on our own and that we shouldn't be asking for help. However, in letting their belief and support impact you, you are acknowledging the part of yourself that knows you are worthy of trust and esteem. By allowing them to believe in you, your own belief in yourself and your abilities will start to emerge again. Borrow their vision, and you can make it your own. If your special someone is not there to spur you on, you also can lift yourself up with the gift of a positive image. When you feel uncertain, you can create a vision of the future you desire that will serve as a beacon of light. To do so, simply imagine a future that is exactly as you'd like it to be. Imagine in detail how you feel, what you are doing, and how others are responding to you. This is Rex Barker C.S. (Creating energetic Space) saying suggesting that you make your vision as real as possible, and allow your doubts to recede so you can focus solely on the goal you seek. The more intently you focus on the image of what you want, your belief in yourself will step to the forefront, making it easier for the universe to open up a path and guide you.

Now, I call that a day!

Communicate what you need/desire, and it's there!

Become A Sender of Cards

Become A Sender of Cards

One with the Universe?

Ponder this. There's been 4 deaths in the community in the last 8 days. The community exist of 3 small towns, so it was rather magical to experience the coming together of so many to celebrate the lives of three citizens who were part of the community. Individually, we may know 50% of everyone as acquaintances, but collectively we had one thin that bonded us together--the person who had passed over had touched each of our lives in some way!

Now picture yourself looking down at that group of people at that cemetery paying their last respects. That interconectedness is exactly how the universe works....

Think about it, and comment if you wish.

Become A Sender of Cards

Become A Sender of Cards

I got this email today! It's message is quite thought provoking..... After reading it, I thought thhat iit would make a beautiful card! More than making a wonderful card to send someone, it sums up why people send cards in the first place.

See what you think.....

What would you do if every time you wanted someone they would never be
there?
What would you do if for every moment you were truly happy there would
be 10 moments of sadness?
What would you do if your best friend died tomorrow
and you never got to tell them how you felt?
So, I just wanted to say, even
if I never talk to you again in my life, you are special to me and you have made
a difference in my life.
I look up to you, respect you, and truly cherish
you.
Remember, everyone needs a friend, someday you might feel like you have
NO FRIENDS at all, just remember this e-mail and take comfort in knowing
somebody out there cares about you and always will.
In times of trouble,In
times of need,If you are feeling SAD,
You can count on me.I will give you a
wink,
Until you smile,
give you a hug,
And stand by your side.
I'll be there for you till the end, I'll always and forever, be your friend!
